It's all about the broccoli this week. The garden is in full production, and the only way I can keep up is to add it to every meal. I've never had enough broccoli to freeze, but I think I am at the point of experimenting with this.
This week we ate:
Sunday
Chicken with Cream & Mustard, from Nigel Slater's Real Cooking, served with steamed broccoli. Followed up with plum crumble for dessert.
This is an easy Sunday night bake. I used some poached chicken I had in the freezer, so dinner just required assembly. Perfect for the end of the weekend.
Monday
Penne with a Quick Sausage Sauce, from The River Cafe Cook Book.
Tuesday
Broccoli & Goat's Cheese Souffle. Served with green salad.
Wednesday
Pan-fried fish, served with Easy Baked Sweet Potato Chips and roasted kohl rabi.
Thursday
Beef with Broccoli and Oyster Sauce from Adam Liaw's Asian Cookery School, served with steamed rice.
Bon Appetit!
