During my stay in Paris, I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Opera Diamond, just next to the St Lazare station. On the last day of my stay, I decided to give their breakfast a try… For 23€ a buffet breakfast is served every morning from 7 to 10:30am down in the lobby. In the same dimmed ambiance surrounded by a black feel and some shining sparkles. I sat on one of the violet low sofas while looking around for more details to capture. The overdose of reflections were too much, especially in the morning – reflective tables, reflective floor and adding to that the reflection of the knives redirecting on the spot lights from the ceiling into your eyes.As I sat, I was approached by a waitress who asked me what I would like to drink with a smile. I ordered a Caffe Latte, which was delivered in minutes. The choices are good, especially for a business hotel:- Four choices of cereals
- Fresh squeezed drinks
- Ready made pancakes
- Chocolate rolls
- Two kinds of tarts (Apple and coconut)
- Chaussons au pommes
- Flanc
- Three kinds of cheese
- Fruit salad
- Four kinds of dried fruits
- Cold cuts
- A tower display of bread
- Eggs and sausages
- I loved the compote collection and the choice of Echiré butter (salty and normal)
- The bread was fresh and crunchy
- The waitress was smiling and welcoming
- When delivering the eggs, she approached me discretely describing the plate for me and its content: Bravo
