REVENGE WEARS PRADA by Lauren Weisberger, THE TOTAL MONEY MAKEOVER by Dave Ramsey, THE FIFTH GOSPEL by Ian Caldwell
I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before on the blog, but I am an avid reader. For as long as I can remember, one of my favorite things to do has always been to read. When I was younger, I was pretty much obsessed with R.L. Stine, Judy Blume and The Babysitter’s Club books! And now that I’m older I’m totally into James Patterson, Dan Brown and trilogies like the Divergent series and The Hunger Games series. Both series are way better than the movies, trust me!
Yesterday the hubby and I took a trip to Barnes and Noble, so I decided to share what’s currently on my reading list. I’m starting to think more about finances and investing, so I picked up The Total Money Makeover and I can’t wait to dive into Dave Ramsey’s financial lessons. I’ve read major success stories on his total money makeover plan, so I’m interested to see what I can apply to my own household finances. I also picked up Revenge Wears Prada, which yes I know has been out for a few years but somehow I never managed to read it yet. Better late than never, right?
Last on my list is The Fifth Gospel. Sadly, it only gets an honorable mention from me. I was expecting it to be similar to my beloved Dan Brown books, but alas it just didn’t live up to my expectations. We can’t win them all, but at least I’ll get to add this one to my ever growing book collection! Anyone read anything good lately or have any recommendations? I’m always looking for something new and interesting to read!
