From yesterday's FT, actually: Sir, Might not the sensible answer to "Tax take comes up short" (March 31) be that the supposed recovery is essentially a political PR stunt? We at the coalface of industry know there is no real recovery. And the lower tax take proves this. Common sense? Malcolm Rasala, Eastbourne, Sussex.
