Short answer: 100% yes.
I know there are people out there that do this and to be honest, I just don’t get it. Why would you go out and spend a shit ton of money on a tree that someone else probably cut down and then put boring ass white lights on it? In my mind that’s straight up un-American. How bout you just not decorate it while you’re at it and put it in your basement? It makes no sense to get a Christmas tree, stick it in a window and then put white lights on it. You might as well hang a sign outside of your house that says you are uninteresting, have no friends, and probably don’t like Justin Bieber and boy bands. That’s all.
P.S. When I decorate a tree, I decorate it with the Soup Nazi looking on. Bro reminds me to go big or go home.
