Posted on the 04 April 2018 by Beinglatinacom

Apple Cider Vinegar is a great addition to any natural hair care regimen as hair tends to become dull with the buildup of residue from hair styling products.  Luckily the raw version of Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural fix for hair and scalp problems. at it is filled with nutrients that naturally help with residue buildup, tangles, frizzy hair, dandruff, scalp stimulation, and the unclogging of hair follicles.

You can use this natural hair rinse after shampooing with a natural shampoo bar to help bring back a natural shine to your hair.

RAW APPLE CIDER VINEGAR RINSE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 16 oz Water
  • Optional: Dried Botanicals / Essential Oils

DIRECTIONS

  • Mix 1/2 to 4 tablespoons of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar with 16 ounces of water into a plastic squeeze or spray bottle.
  • To further enhance your rinse, add dried botanicals or essential oils that your scalp and hair will love like lavender, rosemary or peppermint into water/vinegar mix and infuse, then apply on hair.

You want to make sure that you use RAW apple cider vinegar as the pasteurized version has been distilled and wiped clean of the helpful nutrients and enzymes the raw version contains.  You should try different dilutions to see which one works best for you. Below is a recommended amount to use, you may need less or more, dependent on your hair and scalp needs.

  • Dry / Sensitive : 1/2 – 2 tablespoon (Use less ACV on dry/frizzy hair)
  • Oily / Dandruff: 2-4 tablespoons (Use more ACV on oily hair)

USAGE

  • After shampooing hair, spray, or pour apple cider vinegar rinse onto wet hair.
  • Massage rinse into scalp and hair, paying special attention to the roots and the ends.
  • Let rinse sit on hair for a few minutes.
  • Rinse off from hair

You can skip the conditioner when using this rinse as it will naturally condition your hair.  When you are first switching over to natural shampoo bars like our Peppermint or Coconut Hair & Body Bar, you can start using this rinse twice a week until your hair adjusts.  After the adjustment period is over, you can use the apple cider vinegar rinse 2-4 times a month to help keep your hair & scalp naturally healthy.
