eam and positional comparison with the Montreal Canadiens also included
This graph reflects the number of successful scoring plays each player produced per-minute played. Scoring-plays used in this calculation include; offensive-zone loose-puck recoveries, shots, passes to the slot, and dekes. These events were used because my research has shown that players who average the most scoring-chances, also have high contribution numbers within these metrics.
A list of all the metrics I track can be found here
NEW YORK RANGERS
As a team, the Rangers averaged 0.66 scoring plays per-minute in game 4, while the Habs averaged 0.51. The Rangers number was their second-highest of the series, while the Habs number was their lowest.
Kevin Klein contributed the most scoring plays per-minute among Rangers defensemen, while Mats Zuccarello produced the most among any forward on either team in game 4.

MONTREAL CANADIENS
The Canadiens produced fewer scoring plays per-minute in game 4 than they did in any of the first 3 games of the series. Josh Gorges contributed the most scoring plays per minute among Habs d-men in game 4, while PK Subban produced his lowest scoring-play total in any game this series. Rene Bourque produced more scoring plays per-minute than any other Habs player in game 4; with Daniel Briere a close second. Max Pacioretty produced his lowest scoring play total of the series.
