Naayak had distribution problem in Krishna too. The film was initially bought and then at the last moment due to lack of finances the original distributor opted out of the deal and left the film to local distributor. The local distributor in turn gave a hard time to the film’s run which is known to all and sundry in the territory. But despite all this Naayak managed to collect 2.35 Cr which is a hit performance.
