According to the Meteorological department several spells of showers are expected to occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
However, in other areas of the island fair weather conditions are to be expected.
Meteorological department further states that, strong winds about (30-40) kmph may occur at times over Northern, North Central and Eastern provinces.
