Speculations about iQOO’s next budget premium smartphone, the iQOO Z9 Turbo, have been rife for the past few weeks. And now the fans’ wait is over and ICO has officially announced the launch date of this phone. It is going to enter the market this month. The iQOO Z9 Turbo is expected to take on the upcoming Redmi Turbo 3 and Realme GT Neo 6. Because all three phones have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.

The brand under Vivo has confirmed that they will launch the iCo Z9 Turbo as the most powerful Z-series phone in China on April 24. According to recent reports, the iCo Z9 lineup will include two more models – the Ico Z9 with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and the Ico Z9X, which will run on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. However, it is not yet clear whether the standard iCo Z9 and Z9X models will be launched with the Turbo variant.

Aiko has confirmed that the Aiko Z9 Turbo will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chipset. Even, it is said that it will use a huge 6,000 mAh battery. The 6K VC will have dedicated chips for heat dissipation and graphics management to keep temperatures under control According to other reports, the iCo Z9 Turbo will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED (OLED) panel, which will offer 1.5K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 2160 Hz PWM dimming and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Besides, the iQOO Z9 Turbo is said to come with 12GB/16GB LPDD5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will run on Android 14 based on OriginOS 4 custom skin. For photography, the Z9 Turbo will have a dual-camera system on the back with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel secondary lens. And a 16-megapixel camera can be seen on the front of the phone.
