Story: Raging Grace starts when Filipina maid Joy (Eigenmann) has been working as a care worker around different homes. However, she is undocumented and has been operating in empty homes keeping them clean and keeping a roof over her daughter Grace’s (Boadilla) head.

When Joy gets a role that offers more money than she could imagine, she can’t refuse it. The rules are put in place by Katherine (Best) as Joy is hired to care for and help around the house for Mr Garrett (Hayman). However, Grace starts to experience strange events around the house and Joy can’t risk losing this job. Can they solve the mystery before it is too late.

Verdict on Raging Grace

Raging Grace is a horror thriller following an undocumented Filipina woman keeping her daughter safe while taking jobs around the city.  She takes jobs in empty houses to keep her daughter close, however, whenever the family returns, they must move on. Their latest home offers big money but holds much bigger secrets.

This is a movie that keeps everything on a knife edge. It uses the already risky life that Joy is living to remain in the country with a mystery about what is going on in the house. This keeps a nice balance between the two as well as we wait to see where the story takes us next. It does get to challenge the way people are treated in life and mix it with a twisted horror idea.

Final Thoughts Raging Grace is riddled in tension and suspense.
