Verdict on Rage
Rage is a horror thriller following a group of friends that see their party weekend turned into a nightmare. It follows them as they start by getting out of hand before they find themselves battling against an unknown threat waiting to pick them off.
This gives us a slasher-styled movie mixed with cult behavior. While it doesn’t offer any mystery about who the killer is, it does pose the big question of why? The way the group are separated and picked off works as most slashers do and it has a very unusual motivation behind the killings. We have a strong cast and a series of great moments leading to the final reveal.
Where to Watch: Rage is released On UK digital 7 August 2023 from Reel 2 Reel Films.
Final Thoughts – Rage is a nice blend of slasher and cult horror ideas.
