Thus begins her new journey as a wife of a Pakistani army officer (played by Vicky Kaushal) and as an Indian spy. The trailer shows Alia Bhatt as an obedient daughter, perfect wife and a fearless spy.
It features Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat, about an Indian spy married to a Pakistani military officer during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
The Film is Directed by Meghna Gulzar, and it is produced by Karan Johar, Vineet Jain, Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta and co-produced by Priti Shahani.
Raazi was shot across several locations including Nabha, Malerkotla and Doodhpathri. The first poster of the film was released on 9 April 2018 through the official Twitter handle of the film while the trailer of the film was launched on 10 April 2018.
‘Raazi’ is slated to release on May 11, 2018.
