Actor Lance Gross went from playing good guys in Tyler Perry productions to playing a pimp named Dino in the TV One movie, ‘When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story.’ Lance Gross recently revealed that after filming was over he had to detox and “pray a lot” to get the character out of his system.
“I needed to break out of the lane that I was in because I was so comfortable,” Lance Gross told Page Six.
“It was one of those roles that I may need therapy for . . . I had to detox and I had to pray a lot. I had a very small argument with my wife. I said something that Dino would say. It was not me. I was like, ‘Wait . . . let me chill out. This is not me!”
‘When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story’ is the true and tragic story of Falicia Blakely (Niatia ‘Lil Mama’ Kirkland), a teen mother who grows up in the fast-lane.
