These are three of the questions I would ask President Obama if given the chance to interview him:
- When you ran for President in 2008 you said that it was “unpatriotic” of then-President Bush to take “a credit card to the Bank of China” and burden our youth with insurmountable debt. During your first term you added over 6 trillion dollars to the total U.S. debt. Do you still feel that it was “unpatriotic” and if yes then why?
- After serving as our President for one term are there decisions President Bush made that you now better understand? After learning classified information, are there some areas that you now give him more credit for?
- The American people have seen our elected officials unable to broker a deal to avert the “fiscal cliff.” With all the dysfunction in Washington D.C. I ask you this last question. What is your definition of the word “compromise?”
These are but a few of the questions I would ask President Obama. I think they are fair. I would rather not debate President Bush’s tenure as president. At least not on this post.
If you could ask President Obama one question, what would you ask?
If you could ask any president in our history one question, what would you ask?
