Queen Latifah is a godmother!
The actress was named the “godmother” of the new Carnival Horizon cruise ship during a naming ceremony on Wednesday.

The Carnival Cruise Line held an invitation-only overnight gala on the ship, where Latifah was named the godmother.
“It is an honor to be here,” said Queen Latifah. “I am so grateful that Carnival Cruise thought of me to be their godmother.”
The naming ceremony was followed by a lip sync battle. Super Bowl champion Jake Elliot and Latifah went head to head. Both performers dedicated their performance to the children’s St. Jude Hospital. A cause the Carnival Cruise Line supports. The audience picked Queen Latifah as the winner of course.
