The lines I added in my last painting session helped create texture and focus in this abstract painting, but I felt it still needed more interest and emphasis. First, I used some red lines in particular areas to emphasize the red blocks and pull the eye into those areas. Then I used a light blue violet to draw lines and outline shapes which I then filled in with the same color. Finally, I drew a few small cadmium yellow light triangles and filled them in with the same yellow.
Is it time to call it "finished"?
