I think we have finally taken a turn for the better with this Dallas weather, which means that spring wardrobe is in full swing. Over the last couple of months, I have tried to spread out my spring purchases because I know myself and I know if I purchase more than I can wear at the time, I will get so sick of looking at the pieces in my closet and they will loose that ‘new’ appeal. The last time I went shopping I made sure I focused, only purchasing things that I really needed at the time. My list consisted of a new pair of jeans, a spring sweater and this purple polo top…just because.
I normally pass on shirts like this purple polo because it is more than I would normally spend on a top and the color is somewhat bold (purchasing tip: if you are going to splurge on a piece, always opt for something more neutral because you can wear it so many different ways). I decided to just try the top on just for fun. Well I guess the joke is on me because the minute I put this purple polo on, I knew it was coming home with me. As weird as this sounds, when I put this top on it made me feel really good. I love the way it looked but I really loved how comfortable it is. This purple polo is a great piece to wear with jeans and flats or dress it up a little bit with jeans and heels (love a piece that is versatile)
This purple polo top really goes against all my shopping rules but they always say rules are meant to be broken. Especially when it comes to adding a really cute piece of clothing (like this purple polo) to your wardrobe.
