The Punjab government plans to reward the province’s top matriculation students at a big ceremony on August 7. Punjab’s CM, Maryam Nawaz, will be the event’s primary guest to recognize and reward these youngsters’ remarkable academic achievements.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has said that the ceremony will include special honors and cash prizes for top students from all educational boards. When the students arrive in Lahore, they will also be greeted with official procedures and a guard of honor.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is also planning to announce scholarships for excellent students at the event. The celebration will continue after the awards ceremony, with a banquet planned at the historic Lahore Fort to celebrate the students.
Rana Sikandar Hayat praised Maryam Nawaz as an education-friendly chief minister to promote education. He also established a coordination committee made up of the secretaries of several boards.

He stated that the upcoming ceremony represents a return to recognizing academic brilliance in Punjab, as it is the first such event since the one held during Shehbaz Sharif’s period as chief minister seven years prior. He remarked that no similar celebrations were performed during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf or caretaker regimes.
As a unique gesture, the top student’s favorite teachers will also get awards. Students, instructors, and parents from around Punjab will stay in Lahore for two days to take part in the festivities.
