Pumpkins! I love them. When I buy them, they last for a couple of months. I mean I get them at the beginning of October usually, and they're good through almost the Christmas holidays. I change them up for the Christmas holidays by spray painting them in gold, silver and bronze then sometimes putting a littl' Elf sitting on the stem or top! These pumpkins of all sizes grace the steps up to my front door for this almost three-month holiday season.
So for my pumpkin recipes, I rely upon canned pumpkin puree! Yes, it's wonderful~if I can find organic, I do. If not, then I grab several cans and have plenty in the pantry because I LOVE PUMPKIN!!
