When he visited a disaster area in Alabama recently, Donald Trump was seen autographing the Bibles of some of his supporters. That may have been a mistake.
As this poll shows, Americans didn't like that by a 43 point margin. Among all christians, the gap was a negative 41 points. Even evangelicals (Trump's most loyal supporters) disapproved by a 10 point margin -- and Republicans disapproved by an 8 point margin.
