Public Can Send Views on Proposed Anti-Terrorism Bill

Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms Minister, President’s Counsel Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe said it is possible to submit public comments on the proposed Anti-Terrorism Bill until May 31, 2023. Public and civil organizations have the ability to submit their proposals and ideas until May 31, 2023. Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms Ministry requests that the proposals and ideas presented for that purpose be submitted in writing.

Civil organizations and the public are requested to send the proposals regarding the amendments to be made in the Anti-Terrorism Bill to email ([email protected]).

The new draft bill is to be prepared and discussions will be held with relevant parties.
