The charts above are from a new CBS News / YouGov Poll -- done between February 5th and 8th of a national sample of 2,508 U.S. residents, with a 2.3 point margin of error.It shows that while Republicans want to drastically cut the stimulus package proposed by President Biden, the American public doesn't want that. About 83% of them approve of the bill, and 79% say it is not enough or about right -- with only 20% saying it is too much.
Only 41% say it's important that the bill have bipartisan support, while a majority have no problem with the bill being passed without much GOP support.
