This summer, Paris Saint-Germain largely replenished its coffers by selling many young people from its training centre. This is the case of Christopher Nkunku (21 years old) who went to RB Leipzig for a cheque for €15 million. Asked by the Late Football Club, the midfielder explained his decision to leave the capital club to continue his progress.
“The PSG is a very large club. After that, it’s true that for young people, it’s a little more complicated to really win at the MTP. Some young people, like me, preferred to play elsewhere to gain experience because we can do it, we have opportunities for it,” explains the Lagny-sur-Marne native. We’re making progress on our own, in the club we started at.»
