Sunny days, swimsuits, flip-flops and cool refreshing water! That's what summer means to our family. We are very lucky to have a pool that we can jump into whenever we want. Now, those sunny, cloudless days will lead to serious sunburns if we are not protected. The BIG rule in our house: you cannot go outside without sunscreen! The kids know that before they put on their swimsuits, sunscreen needs to be applied. This way, I know they have a base of protection before they jump into the water. During the spring and summer months, Walmart has sunscreen displays all over the store. It's easy to pick and choose which ones your family needs. Every family member requires different sun protection. Our family uses the following:
KIDSFor the kids, I chose Banana Boat Kids Free SPF50 Clear Spray. I love spray sunscreen for kids, it makes applying and re-applying so easy. No need to sit kids down for half an hour while I attempt to apply "yucky white lotion" (their exact words) that they despise.
