Proms & Pimms

What glorious weather we're having in the UK!  The sun hasn't stopped shining and I haven't stopped wishing I had an outdoor swimming pool,or that I could walk about naked because I'm quite often melting... okay not that extreme my gosh it's been warm!  
Last weekend I was invited via my work to go to the Warwick Castle Summer Proms, having never been to Warwick Castle this was super exiting or to a proms concert.  Even though this particular concert wasn't in conjunction with the current BBC Proms concerts it is rumoured to be quite a treat.
 After sipping prosseco then moving onto the Pimms we watched the concert.  If you weren't patriotic about your country, you certainly were after indulging in the classically commercial music.  Often people think classical music is tired or lacking in someway, but after being initially greeted by male group the Overtones (who were fantastic) followed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, any preconceptions were squashed.

The belt doesn't come with the dress but I decided to flatter my figure, I needed to add something to pull me in at the waist.  I really love this cute tanned belt, (plus it was really cheap from Primark) it compliments my Topshop bag and my accessories. I fell in love with the dress because it's quite quirky and different from what I'd seen,one thing to watch out for is tan lines in the sunshine... my shoulders are quite entertaining! 
Web rocked a very cute dress from Boohoo, I love the floral and cheeky touch of lace on the front.  Great dress for wearing in the sunshine as its feminine and strapless means now dodgy tan lines!
We both had a wonderful afternoon sitting amongst a happy crowd.  There were BBQs, picnics, singing, dancing, a classic spitfire flying over, top music and of course fireworks!  What a fab way to spend a Saturday! 
This is certainly on the calendar for next year...
