Peru is one of the most famous and awe-inspiring travel destinations in the world. Many have trekked the long walk up the hill while hiking the Inca Trail to see the beauty of Machu Picchu. But there’s a lot more behind the scenes to see than the major attractions. Don’t forget the hidden treasures in the Amazon, Lake Titicaca or the beautiful beaches, or even the towns of Lima and Cusco.

That’s the message behind the new campaign, “Don’t Watch the Film, Live it” calling on all through who seek adventure, to not take a back seat and just visit the main sites, but to get amongst it, witness and immerse yourself in the culture that is Peru, from the from the Norte Chico civilization, one of the oldest in the world, to the Inca Empire, the largest state in Pre-Columbian America.

The campaign draws on the beauty of Peru but also highlights how the historical past of this cultural destination has shaped new modern infrastructure that exists within the country today. Against this magnificent landscape lies an ‘Empire of Hidden Treasures’, through ancient ruins to a world of luxury and retreat. Peru not only holds a variety of ethnic mixes, but also a climatic variety of 28 individual climates and it is said to have some of the best cuisines within the Americas.
