Project Life: July 2015 Tour and Layout Ideas Well this is unexpected! I completely fell off the wagon with these Project Life updates but fret not, I’ve still been scrapbooking, I just haven’t found time to squeeze in posts. In fact I’ve hugely bulked up my 2015 album over the last few weeks, so I’ll just share a few of my favorite spreads and the kits/materials used.
Feel free to share your round-up posts with me in the comments (:
Wong Wong’s Leaving Day

I opted for something a little more minimal on this page. One of my loveliest colleagues left the team and we had a fun office together. Our leaving gift for Michelle (yup, many of us on the team!) was a miniature LC garden: each girl bought and tended a little plant for a month leading up to Michelle’s last day and we presented it to her that morning. Also went for an indulgent yum cha lunch! I wrote a little piece on this page and then maximised white space by adding small square photos.

Went to see Beast

A decorative card heavy spread, this was from when I went to see Beast in concert for the very first time. I actually went on my own, hence why it’s so decoration-centric – no selcas to be had here! Added the ticket as expected and it’s still so yellow. Why. Yellow.

Malaysia

I had the BEST holiday in Malaysia to visit my family in June. Seriously, the best 5 days of my year. I’m the luckiest. I managed to milk this one for all its worth and have 4/5 pages dedicated to the trip, but this spread is probably my favorite. I used a new kit to add some grounding to the layouts but the photos of my hometown just speak for themselves really.

Sister Dates

Again, this is one of a few spreads in my album. I absolutely ADORE my little sister. She is the best human in my life and when she was visiting, I instantly realised that home is wherever my sister is. It isn’t a static place. Cheesy sister stuff over, I went for a relatively minimal spread again, focusing on some stickers I’d bought from kikki.K plus a little gold foil for good measure. I adore the simplicity and pale colours here.

Beach Day

This was a fairly simple spread with - currently - no journaling involved. Took lots of snaps at the beach on a pretty successful lazy weekend so of course I wanted to document it! I doubt the novelty of being able to swan around in bikinis and denim cut-offs all the time will ever wear off ;) I adore these clear cards from my September Skies Value Kit! They're proving useful for bringing some space to photo-heavy spreads. I'll probably add a white card in that slot and letter it fairly simply.
