12/5/13 Patient was in unusually good spirits today. He was triumphant about achieving sympathetic coverage for his spouse, just when hostility was growing from millions who have apparently lost their health coverage. He is also leaving for a week in Hawaii at Christmas. That will make it exactly one year since I took on Patient's case when I was flown to Oahu, at Valerie Jarrett's request, to carry out a psychiatric assessment. Considering patient's dire condition at that time, there has been a marked improvement. My only misgiving is the likelihood is high that patient will restock his supplies of Blueberry Yum Yum, and Hawaiian Gold which will worsen his paranoia.
