Product Review: The Mona Plant Self Watering Tank from Gardener Supplies

By Ozhene @papaver

I was asked if I would like to review the Mona Plant Self-Watering Tank from Gardener Supplies and I quickly said yes. Watering house plants and plants in containers is something I could be better at so anything that helps make this task less of a chore is always welcome.

I have not paid for this product and I have not been paid to write this review. My words and opinions are my own.

This is a really simple product and I love simple products as it means there is much less to go wrong. It took me less than three minutes to put the self-watering tank together. I picked the 2 litre version as I thought it would be very useful for one of my plants that I overwinter indoors but needs to not dry out. It usually dries out far too much and then I nearly lose it so this felt like a good solution. The kit comes in a range of sizes from 1 litre to 25 litres, so good for a wide range of projects indoors and out.

The website description tells us that:

It is a big plant in a large pot so I needed the 2 litre capacity.

Once planted there is the handy spout with its cap where you refill the tank.

This handy indicator shows you how full the tank is. Simple but effective.

The 2 litre tank is currently retailing at £9.99 which I think makes it fantastic value. It is made of recyclable plastic and it can be used time and time again. I think this is a super product and I am very happy to recommend it. It is very useful now and will continue to be so throughout the growing year.

Take care and be kind.
