Product Review: L'Oreal False Lash Butterfly Mascara

By Dressmeupbuttercup @hazelsalcedo

Hey ladies! Here’s a sneak preview of what’s coming soon in our local L’Oreal counters — the L’Oreal False Lash Butterfly Mascara (also called Faux Cils Papillon internationally). If you want lashes that spread out like a butterfly, then this product is for you!

Loreal False Lash Butterfly Mascara

Aside from the unusual shape of the tube (unusual because most of my mascaras have round tube packaging), what caught my attention is the brush comb. I learned that the asymmetric built of the butterfly brush optimizes precision of application, creating butterfly eye looks for wide-spread lashes that are twice more visible. The brush is definitely one of its kind because of the modern shape. If you notice the shape actually takes the form of our lash line, meaning its arched (compared to flat straight wand from other brands).

Here it is in action!

Loreal False Lash Butterfly Mascara

As you can see my lashes are naturally long, but not quite thick. I love how this mascara adds volume and length without looking too fake. The unique brush also helps in coating fiber in the lashes individually and from corner to corner. This mascara is currently my fave (putting my Benefit and Maybelline babies in the backseat for now) simply because of the innovative brush which makes application so much easier.

What do you think? Are you excited for the release of this mascara?
