Hey girls! Another product review post tonight! I received these two products from KRAVE a month ago. Though I want to road test and share my thoughts on these as soon as I got them, I wasn’t able to because I honestly have tons of products lined up for swatching/review/product shots (whoever said blogging is easy? it takes a lot of dedication and effort!!! agree?).
Anyway, Krave celebrated their anniversary + new product launching last January and I was one of the bloggers invited *click here to read more about that event*. As a token they gave us GCs to spend on their latest products. And here are the items I chose…
I picked a concealer because I was running out of one at that time. I also got a toner since I really want to try their skin care line.
First, let’s discuss this Ultra Bright HD Dark Under Eye & Blemish Whitening Concealer from their mineral makeup line. The product description on the box says:
Hate spots? Conceal & erase them up completely and get rid of them instantly. This whitening concealer is perfectly formulated for oily skin type. It does not only erase spots but it also helps to brighten & lighten dark under eye circles. With the 4 powerful high grade plant extracts such as Licorice Root, Japanese Green Tea, Rice bran & Golden Jojoba seed, you can achieve a flawless & fairer skin.
It contains Licorice Root, Japanese Green Tea, Rice bran & Golden Jojoba. It is non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic and nono particle free. Krave also doesn’t test on animals making their products absolutely cruelty free. I like how it easily blends when I apply this on my under eye circles but I find the formulation too heavy. It’s cream-like, by the way, so it tends to cake after a few hours of wear. It comes in 3 shades - Struffoli, Panettone, and Crostata (the one I’m using).
Now for the Fruitte Poreless Toner Spray from their organic skin care line. The product description says:
Get rid of large pores, oily skin, blemishes & acneic skin while toning & improving your skin complexion.It revives dull & stressed skin, tightens large pores, prevents the skin from breaking out & locks in skin moisture.
It contains watermelon, cucumber and aloe vera. I personally liked that it comes in spray-type bottle! There are times when I’m lazy to grab a cotton to dab my other toner with, so I reach out for this one since I only have to spritz and let it dry for a few minutes. As for the poreless claim, I have yet to see some improvement because as of now I still have large pores! Also, lately my face gets a stingy/burning sensation whenever I apply this though it says on the label it has no irritating chemicals on it. I wonder what’s the cause? Bottom line is I don’t use this much anymore.
Before I end this post, it is worth mentioning that Krave definitely improved their packaging! Of course this is the first thing I noticed because I received some of their products before and I’m telling you I like how they packaged their new product offerings now! If you haven’t tried any organic/mineral makeup brands before, then Krave might be the one for you. They have a new extensive product line available for you to try.
