If you’re looking for a blusher that has that sun-kissed-glow and just-been-in-the-beach effect, then Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in Orange is for you! I’ve been using it for a few months in a row now and it also made it to my 2012 All-Time Makeup Favorites (*check post here*).
Aside from the cute name and packaging (it comes with a cute puff but sadly mine went missing already), I also got it because of the color. I honestly don’t like blush in pink hues, but that’s just me. This shade may be shocking to some, but once applied it is actually subtle.
It can also double as highlighter because of the pearly gold shimmers. I personally like blushers with a hint of glimmer because it doesn’t make my face look flat. It comes in pressed powder form which is good for oily skin like me because it sticks easily against my cheeks, as compared to cream or gel blush. Downside is its staying power, don’t expect this to last all day long. A good 3 to 4 hours and you have to reapply.
