Fans may see a new record as soon as December.
When he isn’t fueling his bad boy image, he’s focusing on his acting career. Up until recently, that is. Fresh off his role as Matt in Broadway musical The Fantasticks, Carter recently confirmed his plans for a new album.
“My goal is to get it out by December, which probably won’t happen because I am being so critical on myself,” said Carter. “I want the best.” (x)
While no title has been confirmed, it is rumored to be called The After Party, a reference to 2000’s hit record Aaron’s Party (Come Get It). This will be his first album in a decade, with his previous release Another Earthquake! only reaching number 18 on US album charts.
