Amazon prime day 2020 Officially underway, and you get deals in the wireless networking category from big names including Netgear and Ero as you shop. This includes deals on brand-new routers supporting new fastesters Wi-Fi 6 Speed, Gaming Routers Designed to reduce your lag Mesh router Promise to fill your home with a fast, reliable connection to every room.
There are marquee offers for each of Amazon's new mesh router systems, Ero 6 and Ero Pro 6. As the name itself suggests, both systems provide full support for this Wi-Fi 6, And each also includes a built-in ZigBee hub for connecting things Smart locks And Smart lights For your home network. Neither system ships until early November, but you can pre-mode right now - and in each case, as an early Prime Day deal, Amazon will throw in some free devices to help sweeten the pot.

A three-piece ERO 6 system with a router and two range-extended satellite devices cost $ 279. The system won't be hitting stores until early November, but if you're willing to pre-order, you can currently pair it with a free echo dot and two free Philips Hue bulbs. Total cost: still $ 279, which is one heck of a deal.
Thanks to that new ZigBee hub in the Eero router, you can connect those Hue bulbs directly with your home network, and with Alexa, which comes in the free Echo Dot, from there, you'll be able to. Turn the lights on and off, adjust brightness and color temperature, or let Amazon's assistant trigger your favorite smart lighting scenes with a quick voice command.
Some things to keep in mind though. First of all, while this deal equips you with the new, Wi-Fi 6 version of Eero's Mesh router, it doesn't get you the latest Echo Dot with its new circular design. Instead, you will get a previous, puck-sized model from 2018.
Second, two hue bulbs are hue white ambience LEDs. This means that they can change the color temperature on the white light spectrum, with colors ranging from a pale, candle-like glow to warmer, more blue-white day tones. They can't change colors on the RGB spectrum, though - so no greens, blues, pinks, purses, reds or anything like that. It's a small one, but at least the new Eero routers make it so that you don't need the Hue Bridge if you're going to control them via the Alexa app. Read our Eero 6 first.

In the meantime, if you upgrade to the hardcore Arrow Pro 6 system, which also arrives in November, you can currently find a $ 599 three-pack bundled with the free Fire TV Cube on Amazon, which is usually Sells for $ 120. That router can hit faster than the regular Eero 6 listed above, and the Tribend design has an additional 5GHz band that you can dedicate to the system transmission between the router and the extender. The AX6000 version of Netgear's popular Orby Mesh router boasts a trend design with two 5GHz bands, as well as full support for Wi-Fi 6. This is one of the fastest and most impressive Mesh routers I've ever tested. Has done, and it's not come cheap, with a two-piece system typically selling for $ 700. Now for prime day you Three-piece The system, with a router and two satellite devices for the same price, saves you $ 300. It will be up to 7,500 sq ft with fast, reliable connections. Want a three-piece mesh router, but don't mind spending hundreds for a fancy, tribute Wi-Fi 6 system? Consider last year's version of Ero, as the 3-pack is on sale for $ 75 during Prime Day. As I said, there is no support for Wi-Fi 6 (and no free Philips Hue bulbs or Echo speakers), but it is still a fully capable system for those with ISP speeds of less than 500Mbps. Netgear
If you want to upgrade to a tribal router with a 2.4GHz band, a 5GHz band, and one more 5GHz band, so this prime day offer for Netgear Nighthawk X6S may be right up your street. It does not support Wi-Fi 6, but it is as powerful as Wi-Fi 5 routers, and is capable of hitting gigabit speeds on both 5GHz bands. At the sale price of $ 180, you are saving $ 100.

Meanwhile, this Net16er's AC1600 router is marked up to $ 56 for Prime Day, saving you $ 24. This is a touch faster than some other budgets on sale today, even with a top speed of 1.3Gbps on the 5GHz band. If you are paying for gigabit internet, this can be a good option and you just want a simple router that is capable of hitting those top speeds.

This is not a Prime Day deal per se, but Google recently gave a price cut to its original mesh Wi-Fi system, bringing the cost of a three-piece Google WiFi setup to below $ 200. This is a fair price for a well-reviewed system, but I would like to see it go on sale for less sales that it is almost four years old at this point. There is also a very good chance that we will see Black Friday sales on the new, faster Nest WiFi, which only started last year. If you are in the market for a mesh router from Google, it is probably worth the wait.
It's also possible that Google may launch a new, Wi-Fi 6 version of Nest WiFi here at the last minute before buying the season, but I don't think it's likely that Google's new Pixel phones, Nest speakers, and Chromecast all streamers Skipped Wi-Fi 6 altogether.
