I've been a real bad blogger recently. I've had a really busy few weeks and have also been caught up with personal issues that I needed to deal with first. I guess a lot of people can relate to this, whether you're a blogger or not, but I haven't been in the best of moods and so I wasn't really in the right frame of mind to be blogging. I've had a lot of personal/family issues to deal with over the last year and after finishing university it finally caught up on me. But none-the-less I'm feeling a lot better this week. I guess you kinda just get wrapped up in other things that are happening in your life and forget about everything else. So I just wanted to apologize to my readers for being away from my blog for a couple of weeks. We all need a bit of time out occasionally and it also made me realize how much I love blogging and writing about my interests in style and fashion.
Anyway, back to today's post. I'm a sucker for round lens sunglasses and despite the hype since Spring I have only just got my hands on a pair, well two. I'm obsessed with white this year and despite it always having a reputation of being slightly cheap and tacky I can see not just me, but the entire fashion industry have given it a new spin, and it certainly seems to be dominating the Spring/Summer trends this year. White sunglasses aren't for everyone, but these thin rimmed shades with gold detailing are perfect; bold enough as a statement accessory but subtle enough to appear expensive and stylish. If I told you they were from Primark, would you believe me? I picked these up for £2.50 yesterday. Certainly a cheaper alternative to my all-time favorite Wildfox Bel Air Frame in White. As much I 'need' them, I'm still debating whether I can justify spending the money on them. I also picked up these tortoiseshell sunglasses with gold heart detail lenses for £3.00. Hardly breaking the bank, cheaper sunglasses give you the diversity of several different styles and designs, and you can pick up as many as you wish. I still embrace my ray bans but it's good to switch up your sunglasses for different looks.
I've bought a hell of a lot of things recently, including a mountain of clothes, accessories and my Topshop Arabel Cut Out Boots that I have wanted since January. I'm so pleased I got these last week as they are out of stock of most sizes again online. I will get a post together about these soon. I guess I have more of a reason to buy new things as I have had a huge clear out at home and have put a lot of things up on my eBay which you can take a look at here. I'm going to do a post on eBay, recycling old clothes, and putting the money towards new pieces. I'm off dress shopping for the perfect dress for my last ever university ball which is on Friday. Wish me luck!
You can keep up with what I'm up to on Twitter here and Instagram here. Next week it's the blogs first birthday. I'm planning a new fresh look for the blog over the coming weeks as I feel it's time to switch it up. Hope you're all making the most of the sunshine. Hopefully it'll be sticking around for a bit.
