PPJ Visits Ch’o’llima Iron Works

DPRK Premier and State Affairs Commission Vice Chairman Pak Pong Ju [Pak Pong-chu] visited the Ch’o’llima (Kangson) Steel Complex near Namp’o, the Pot’onggang Organic Compound Fertilizer Factory and Pyongyang Automation Appliances Factory.

At the fertilizer factory he took “measures to drastically increase the production of compound fertilizer and provide the firm guarantee for increased production of grain” and at the appliance factory took steps to “hasten the production of machines and equipment to be sent to the field of coal industry.”  Pak then toured Ch’o’llima (Kangson) Steel Complex and “encouraged the workers and technicians in their efforts.”  He held a consultative meeting in situ to discuss “measures for satisfactorily meeting demanded for iron and steel needed for the national economy.”
