On December 12, U.S. Ambassador Dan Shapiro, USAID Mission Director Dave Harden, along with U.S. Embassy, U.S. Consulate, and USAID staff, joined PeacePlayers International (PPI) participants for a basketball game. PPI, a U.S. based organization, uses the game of basketball to bridge divides, change perceptions, and develop young leaders. USAID and the Department of State have partnered with PPI over the years, supporting several projects that bring people together and promote coexistence.
