When it comes to outdoor activities, I’ve gotten into long distance cycling recently and although I have a basket on the back of my bike, it’s annoying listening to a water bottle rattle around in the back. For my hiking trips, space is usually an issue. I pack as light as possible and usually my water bottle is clipped onto the outside of my pack, taking up space long after it’s finished.

The fliptop lid makes it easy to drink from, and the hole is small enough that you could add some lemon slices or berries to add flavor to your water as one reviewer on Amazon suggested. You’re not just limited to water though, you can add any liquid to it, including warm, but not boiling liquids.
It’s 500ml (17fl oz) size makes it large enough for a day of sightseeing and short hikes or cycling trips, although you would want to have two of them for longer outdoor outings.
What I loved most besides the environment-friendly factor, is how lightweight the PowerPere collapsible water bottle is and how easy it is to crunch up and stash away once it’s empty. This is a huge plus in my book!
