She hated him with a passion. There was never a day when he wouldn’t verbally abuse her. Her choice of clothes, her manner of speaking, her body language, her weight, her colour… Everything about her was a point of critique for him. Everyday she tried to avoid him and everyday he found her and made her suffer with his words.
She wasn’t strong enough to tolerate it all with a smile. But smile she did when she pointed the gun at him. He just laughed at her and said she was too much of a coward to actually pull the trigger. That might have been true on any other day. But today, his words were motivation enough for her to shoot.
Police ruled it as suicide. After all, no one else knew she was schizophrenic.
