Postcards From Apúlia Beach

By Gail Aguiar @ImageLegacy

Apúlia, Portugal

These pictures are a continuation from a couple of weekends ago when we visited Apúlia and Ofir and Ice had a field day in the dunes. Is there a happier sight than a dog playing in the sand? He seems to have boundless energy, but he’s still a young dog (unlike his humans).

Amazingly, the weather is still holding, although the temperature plummets when the sun goes down — and by plummet, I’m talking up to 15 degrees from day to night. The lowest nighttime temperature I’ve seen thus far in our area has been 5C.

I’d like to return to Apúlia later in the day this winter for some sunset shots. We were in Ofir during sunset and it was incredible; I’m expecting it would also look striking with windmills in the foreground.
