Post #1301: A Video Review of Two New Holland Dragon’s Milk Expressions

On Thanksgiving Day Eve (aka this past Wednesday night), Limpd and I recorded a new episode of " A Tasting at the Murder Table". Our subject: the two bottles of New Holland Brewing Dragon's Milk that you see in the above photo.

For those of you that aren't familiar with these particular brews, they are two different expressions of a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Stout that clocks in at an ABV of 11%. To say that these beers ticked several of our boxes would be an understatement, so we were very positive going in to this review. And the following beautifully photographed and VERY positive Instagram posts from the @craftbeermistress, which I shared with Limpd prior to our tasting, definitely added to our unusually sunny dispositions:

Before we get to our review, here's what New Holland has to say about these beers...

This legendary beer's name was born from a story told in medieval times. The knight's reward for slaying a dragon was the treasured "milk of the dragon." Today, Dragon's Milk is an English term used to describe the finest liquid in the house. We believed the liquid we were crafting would be the best in our house. A true legend, hence the name.

Now that we have all of that out of the way, sit back, relax, pour yourself a beer, and enjoy our latest episode of " A Tasting at The Murder Table "...
