Potato wedges are a variation of french fries. As their name suggests, they are wedges of potatoes, often large and unpeeled, that are either baked or fried. Most of the time Potato Wedges contain either garlic powder or fresh garlic. Again, we at NGNO will handle without!
Baked Herbs Potato Wedges:
- 8 medium sized potatoes
- 6 tbsp of Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp of Traditional Wholegrain Mustard
- 1 tsp of Dried Thyme
- 1 tsp of Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp of Dried Rosemary
- 1 tsp of Dried Parsley
- 1 tsp of Spanish Paprika
- 1 tsp of Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp of Coarse Grain Salt
Directions:
Cut each potato in 4 equal sized wedges and mix with the rest of the ingredients.Preheat oven at 200 C. Lightly grease a baking tray.Place and bake potatoes for about 45 min or until crusty edged. Serve immediately.
Tips: I love serving that with a side of coleslaw.
Sweet Potato Wedges:
Directions:
Cut each potato in 4 equal sized wedges and mix with the rest of the ingredients.Preheat oven at 200 C. Lightly grease a baking tray.Place and bake potatoes for about 40 min or until crusty edged. Serve immediately.
Bacon – Cheddar Potato Wedges:
- 8 Medium Sized Potatoes
- 6 tbsp of Oilve Oil
- 4 slices of finely chopped Bacon
- 1 cup of Cheddar Cheese
- 1 tbsp of Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 tsp of salt
Directions:
Cut each potato in 4 equal sized wedges and mix with the rest of the ingredients except for the bacon and cheddar. Preheat oven at 200 C. Lightly grease a baking tray. Place and bake potatoes for about 40 min or until crusty edged. Sprinkle the BAcon and Cheddar and bake until the cheese melts. Serve immediately.
