Pop It! Dominique Ansel’s Ice Cream Sundae in a Can

By Nogarlicnoonions @nogarlicnoonion

I personally wish I was in New York this weekend. Why? Only because chef Dominique Ansel, creator of the cronut, is back with a new creation, an ice-cream sundae in a can. The frozen treat, packaged in a closed can with a pop art design, is sold at $15 and is part of a collaboration with fashion designer Lisa Perry.

For only one day (August 2), these cans feature root-beer and stracciatella ice creams, mascarpone semifreddo, macerated cherries, honey marshmallows and miniature cherry meringues, all packed in a chocolate-lined soup can and will be sold in a special ice cream truck in East Hampton stationed at the Lisa Perry East Hampton Store at 67 Main St. starting at noon, until supplies last.

If you happen to be in NYC this weekend, make sure to grab a can!
