Ponytail from the Ports 1961 AW’13 runway show This pony was created by Global Creative Director for Wella Professionals, Eugene Souleiman
Here is the step-by-step…
1. Spray hair with a smoothing balm and blow-dry with a flat brush, keeping the hair flat and smooth. 2. Make a low side parting and sweep the hair across the forehead and over the ear; secure half the hair in a low pony tail at the nape of the neck, using a covered elastic to secure. Use a soft bristle brush and Wella Professionals Stay Essential Finishing Spray as you style to keep the hair smooth. 3. For the other half of the hair, gently back comb at the roots in the direction of the pony tail, then smooth over with the soft brush towards the ponytail, spraying and brushing as you go. 4. Take the remaining hair and fold into a reverse French pleat, rolling down towards the ponytail, securing the bottom of the pleat into the ponytail and securing with a covered elastic. 5. Spray the hair with Wella Professionals Stay Essential Finishing spray to keep the style in place. Secure the pleat with hair pins if needed.
