Verdict on Poms

Poms is a comedy that follows a retirement community group that takes up cheerleading. This leads them to get involved in competing in a competition, bringing a fresh set of joy into their lives.

The movie is a great, feel-good movie with a serious subject about not letting age hold you back. It shows the community coming together for a better reason, to have fun and enjoy themselves. This shows that a hobby can help people become better people and have a better outlook on life.

The cast is brilliant here, with Diane Keaton and Jacki Weaver shining in the leading roles. It is great to see Rhea Perlman and Pam Grier, who leads the excellent supporting cast.
