POLY-MATH – ‘Sensors in Everything’

Brighton/London instrumental prog rockers POLY-MATH have shared their new 15-minute (!) single ‘Sensors in Everything’ ahead of UK and EU tour dates with Body Hound.

It’s the first song to feature new member Josh Gesner on keyboards and synthesisers and also the first of an ambitious two-part release for 2020, which the quartet have recorded with producer Mark Roberts (Black Peaks, The Physics House Band, Toska, Delta Sleep).

Opening with snippets of a television interview with polymath Gerald Heard discussing his thoughts on psychedelic drugs and the limitations of humans to perceive reality, the track veers into all kinds of different directions across its long running time – from industrial and aggressive post-hardcore to potent riffs more in line with the likes of And So I Watch You From Afar or even Three Trapped Tigers.

There’s a heavy and energetic intensity on show that will leave you in awe throughout and, of course, it all builds up to a dynamic climax.
