Back in early September, I posted a picture of my mother-in-law’s polvo com batatas. Well, she outdid herself today, and the bursts of grelos (rapini) went well alongside the polvo. (It also gives the vegetarian readers something more appetizing to look at than a pile of tentacles.)
I haven’t taken any family lunch photos since New Year’s, but I was a bit sheepish today, delaying the meal by taking an extraordinarily long time shooting it first. Paulo usually helps with the presentation, but I got fussy and rearranged his work. The whole family’s used to me by now, but a word to the wise: never marry a photographer unless you have the patience for this nonsense!
