Police officers have reportedly been apprehended by youths at the popular computer village in Ikeja, Lagos state after they stole gadgets from a shop.
In a video which was originally shared by @ThePhoneShopCEO and re-shared by musician, Eedris Abdulkareem, a policeman who wielded a gun, was seen being taken away by a man as other people followed behind and attempted to mob him.
According to reports, the officer and his colleague broke into a closed shop and tried to cart away items but were swiftly apprehended.
Another part of the video showed a small group dragging a second officer closely behind the first.
It was learnt that the crowd that wanted to descend on them were advised to calm down as he and his colleague were later taken to a police station.
