Plot: A virtuous Hong Kong Police Officer must clear his good name when the drug lord he is after frames him for the murder of a dirty cop.

Story: Police Story starts when the Hong Kong police look to take down a ruthless drug lord. Chan Ka Kui (Chan) is part of the police force however the mission goes horribly wrong. Chan is left to watch over a witness Seline Fong (Lin) as the force looks to complete their investigation.
However, the gang isn’t going to let their business come crashing down and Chan must fight off enemies. When it comes to the trial, Chan loses the witness and finds himself disgraced in court. Now, he sets out to prove everyone wrong and bring them down himself.
Verdict on Police Story
Police Story is an action comedy following an inspector trying to prove the dangers of a drug lord. However, he faces problems and must take them on alone after he loses the witness.
This movie shows the crime world in Hong Kong and how it is run by corruption. It shows the dedication by one officer to clean up the streets no matter how many people try to stop him. This let Jackie Chan show off his comic time next to his all-out action ability. It launched the franchise which helped make Chan a mega star of the era.
